COUPLES
At the centre of this retreat is a guided heart-opening medicine experience designed specifically for couples. This powerful medicine supports emotional safety, empathy, and honest communication. It can gently soften long-held defences, illuminate relational patterns, and create space for clarity where there has been tension. For many couples, it becomes a turning point — not because it is dramatic, but because it allows them to truly feel and hear one another again.

THE SETTING
Nature as co-facilitator. Our cottage home for the weekend sits by the water, a few hours outside Toronto. There is space to breathe, space to walk, space to sit quietly by the lake. The nervous system settles. When we feel physically supported and unrushed, emotional honesty becomes possible.
THE RETREAT
Three days together again
Day 1 — Arriving
We gather around the fire, meet one another, and settle into the space. No agenda to fix or solve — just slowing down, shifting from doing into being. The group container is opened with clarity and care, establishing safety and shared understanding for the weekend. We close the evening with The Story of Us — an opportunity to remember your journey together and mark the beginning of this shared chapter.
Day 2 — The Ceremony
Held within a carefully prepared ceremonial container, this heart-centred medicine supports emotional regulation, compassion, and clear expression. Many couples find it easier to speak difficult truths without escalation, and to listen without defensiveness. Couples spend the majority of the journey focused on their own partnership, with the broader group simply sharing the container. This is not group therapy — it is a respectful, intentional environment designed to support depth while maintaining safety.
Day 3 — Integration & Closing
The morning unfolds slowly. Gentle integration conversations, space to reflect and share. For those who feel called, a cold plunge to ground and refresh. Group breathwork to integrate the experience through the body. A nourishing brunch. Heartfelt goodbyes. The weekend closes not with intensity, but with steadiness — giving you space to return home connected and clear.
