THE RETREAT
Three days in brotherhood
Day 1 — The Gathering
We arrive on Friday afternoon. Introductions and small talk soon give way to the real question: what brought me here? We open the weekend with ceremony around the fire — inviting in our guides and reconnecting with our internal energies. We cook together, hear the ancient stories and myths of our ancestors, and begin to feel something stirring. Our own story wants to be heard. An energy within us needs to be witnessed.
Day 2 — The Ceremony
This is the heart of the weekend. A guided sacred ceremony with transformational medicine. Our hearts open. We connect to each other and to all life. The intense love and compassion of the day allows us to turn this healing energy inward. The great block of fear releases, and we begin to hear our truth. Being witnessed by our brothers in community is the true medicine.
Day 3 — The Return
When the analytical mind quiets, we drop into our emotional and physical landscape. Many people experience somatic release — shakes, warmth, tears. Trauma research suggests this may relate to the body completing stress cycles that were previously frozen or interrupted.
